01 / THE DATA
What is included
This public view includes one verified final substantive Senate floor YES or NO vote per measure from official bill pages and Senate journals. Final passage, repassage, resolution adoption, final concurrence, and conference reports are included. 02 / HOW TO READ IT
A vote belongs to an action
The exact published motion appears beside every vote. An aye on final concurrence is agreement with that amendment or action; the wording should not be confused with a separate final-passage ballot. Where a later final disposition is known but no individual vote is verified, an earlier vote is not displayed as final.
Companion House and Senate bills are grouped together. Duplicate entries are combined, and the last verified substantive Senate disposition is selected using the official action history.
Consent-calendar votes may appear against multiple measures. The totals count entries by measure, rather than distinct physical ballots.
03 / LIMITATIONS
Available records, with gaps
This is not a certified record of every vote cast. Some final actions do not have a verified named vote in the available records. Those measures are omitted from the vote search; independently verified sponsorship remains in the sponsored-bills catalog.
Available journals end April 17, 2025, for that regular session and April 15, 2026, for the next. Later bill-page votes are included, but missing organizational days, later journals, and May 2026 special-session journals limit cross-checking. Some journal PDFs are drafts.
04 / DESCRIPTIONS & DISCREPANCIES
Keep the bill version in mind
Executive summaries are official-abstract excerpts or labeled plain-language summaries. Expanded descriptions were checked against enacted chapters or the specified proposal and amendment versions; corrections preserve material requirements, exceptions, and dates. Other descriptions remain tied to the official abstract. Key provisions are selected points, not the complete law. Source and version labels identify the basis. Enactment labels do not establish that every provision is currently effective or enforceable. The full abstract is available inside each bill. An “as enacted” abstract may describe a later version than an earlier committee or amendment vote.
Two tally discrepancies are flagged in the displayed record: SB0392 (April 16, 2025) and SB1649 / HB1882 (April 13, 2026). The compared sources agree on Harshbarger’s aye.
Issue categories use official subject headings and keywords in the published descriptions. A measure can appear in more than one category. Category counts overlap; they do not increase the total number of recorded entries. Subtopics provide narrower subject labels. Descriptive bill headings are based on published descriptions and are not official bill titles. Category headings do not establish actual committee referrals. The official source controls the bill’s text and recorded action.
